Hello Sean,
The current declaration syntax is independent of language taken directly
from the assemblies, intended to be generic at least in its approach and
though similar to C# syntax does have a few differences. Multiple language
syntax is on the wishlist but is not likely to form part of the upcoming
maintenance release. Hopefully we can include the option during the cycle of
the next full version release.
